Yesterday (July 6th) I arrived from Cleveland at 2:45. At RIT, I talked with Mr. Callens, received my ID card and set up my computer account. Then, after a quick tour through RIT's campus, I talked with the graduate students in the Astronomical Imaging group. They explained their work--analyzing the change, growth, and light emission from young and grown stars--and then listed possible projects for me and my partner, Alexa. Both of us received a textbook to gain introductory knowledge in order to make a succssful outreach program; teaching middle school kids about our universe (our first project).
